How do I add video to my site?

Video is added to a website by using "embed" code.  This is the information that puts a video in your website.

1. The first step is finding the video you want to use.
  • Popular video sharing sites include YouTube, Vimeo and Google Video
2. Each video has an embed code.
  • The embed code is often with the additional info for the video.
  • If you can't find the embed code it is often pointed to in the help or FAQ section
  • On YouTube the embed code is next to the video
  • On Vimeo the code is found by clicking the embed button on the video screen.
  • The code will then be in the pop-up box. 

3.  Once you have found the embed code copy it all.

4.  Paste it on the page where you want the video to appear.

5.  Click on the Source button at the top of the Copy box.

6. Right click and paste the embed code into the source box.


7.  Once the code is in you can click the source button again.  A box with a jigsaw piece will appear.  This will be the video on your actual website.

8. Make sure your Page Status is “1-Active” and click update at the bottom of the screen.

Check your work online.
